Christopher Lucero is an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Anna R. Yum and is licensed to practice law in the States of California and New York. As a Deputy District Attorney in San Bernardino County, Mr. Lucero tried numerous cases to verdict, earning the rare distinction of never losing a case involving driving under the influence, domestic violence, or murder. Mr. Lucero has handled nearly every type of criminal case in the State of California while working as a Deputy District Attorney. He knows what makes prosecutors tick and how to get the best results for you, whatever your goals may be.
His interest in criminal law began when he clerked for the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York while in law school. At that time, he competed for the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute at St. John’s University School of Law, one of the country’s pre-eminent mock trial programs. It was here that he knew that he wanted to be a trial attorney. Mr. Lucero also twice worked as an intern with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, working with that office’s most senior and trial-tested Deputy District Attorney, including the case, People v. Robert Durst, a high-profile prosecution of a New York real estate magnate accused of murdering his best friend in Beverly Hills.
Mr. Lucero lives in the San Diego community with his wife and two children. A Southern California native, he enjoys watching football, watersports, and red wine.
